Moncton, NB – Thérèse Melanson, 100, passed away peacefully at Moncton Hospital, with her family by her side, on Thursday, September 28, 2023. 

Born in Scoudouc, NB, she was the daughter of the late David and the late Bibianne Bourgeois (Dupuis). 

Thérèse will be sadly missed by her children: John (Priscilla) of Moncton, Roger (Lorraine) of Dieppe, Réjeanne Myers (Tom) of Moncton, Jeannette Melanson of Lutes Mountain, Raymond (Lise) of Dieppe, Joanne Melanson (Scott) of Toronto, ON, Diane Haley of Riverview and Shirley Savoie (Pierre) of Moncton; her grandchildren: Lisa, Aline, Suzanne, Mike, Danny, Trisa, Stephanie, Melissa, Shawn, Jennifer, James, Courtney and Colin; also by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Laurie Melanson; her grandson: Ricky; her brothers: Gerard (Leona) and Aquila “Joe” (Dorina); her sister: Marguerite LeBlanc (Daniel). 

 
According to her wishes, no visitation will take place.  A celebration of her life will be held at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB E1A 1G1 (506) 857-1901, on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11am.

Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe where she will rest in peace with her husband. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made at Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
