In Loving Memory Of
January 14, 2017

The family of Therese Marie Maillet wish to announce her death on January 14, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.  She died peacefully with her loving family at her side.  Thérèse was born in Mont Carmel, PEI on November 29th, 1929 to Guillaume and Éléanore Arsenault.

Thérèse was always generous and kind-hearted, dedicating herself to raising her family and doting on her grandchildren.  In her golden years she enjoyed knitting scarves, hats, mittens, and other items for children in need.  Thérèse will be remembered for her gentle soul and loving spirit.

She is survived by three sisters: Anita Lafrange, Rita Miousse and Eveline (Alonzo) Richard; one daughter Gisele (Garfield) Levangie; three sons: Paul (Maureen), Charles (Monique) and Maurice (Donna); seven grandchildren: Justin, Meghan, Kristen, Patricia, Gayle, Josée and Luc as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alcide, four brothers: Fred, Frank, Gus and Tony; three sisters: Tina, Louise Ann and Dora.

Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 10:30 am until time of service.

A celebration of the word will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at 11:30 am.

Donations to the Oncology or Cardiology Units of either local hospital or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Moncton Residence, as well as the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center for their compassionate care.

À sa résidence, le samedi 14 janvier 2017, à l’âge de 87 ans, est décédée Thérèse Maillet.  Elle demeurait à La Résidence Moncton.
Née à Mont Carmel, I.-P.-E.,elle était fille de feu Guillaume et de feu Eléanore (née Pitre) Arsenault.

Mme Maillet était une femme généreuse et de bon cœur qui s’est dévouée à sa famille et ses petits enfants.

Elle laisse dans le deuil trois soeurs: Anita Lafrange, Rita Miousse et Eveline (Alonzo) Richard; une fille Gisele (Garfield) Levangie; trois fils: Paul (Maureen), Charles (Monique) et Maurice (Donna); sept petits-enfants: Justin, Meghan, Kristen, Patricia, Gayle, Josée et Luc ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Outre ses parents, son époux,  Alcide, quatre frères: Fred, Frank, Gus et Tony; trois soeurs: Tina, Louise Ann et Dora l’ont précédé dans la tombe.

Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (N.-B.) (857-1901) le mercredi de 19 h à 21h ainsi que le jeudi de 10h30 jusqu’à l’heure des funérailles.

Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le jeudi 19 janvier 2017 à 11h30.

Dons aux unités  d’Oncologie ou Cardiologie des hôpitaux locale ou à l’association canadienne du diabète serait apprécier par la famille.
