Thérèse Richard, 94, of Richiboucto-Village, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 15, 2021 at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent. She was married to the late Eddie Richard (1996). Born in Saint-Norbert, she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Emilienne (Cormier) Maillet.
She will be sadly missed by her four children; Francine Thébeau (Adelard) of Saint-Ignace, Jean-Guy (Cordelia) of Dieppe, Conrad (Aline) and Ronald (Cécile) of Richiboucto-Village, her nine grandchildren; Guylaine, Gabriel, Jolyane, Emmanuel, Christian, Isabelle, Marcel, Parise and Justin, her fourteen great grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two great grandsons; Miguel, Alex, four sisters; Adèle, Marie-Louise, Aurélie, Viola and ten brothers; Tilmon, Alban, Edouard, Albert, Raymond, Edgar, Calixte, Emile, Yvon and Willie.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche, on Monday December 20, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church, Richiboucto-Village on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 10:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS, ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH AS PER THE PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
