Tilmon Cormier, 90, of Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Dieppe, passed away on Friday, September 1st, 2006 at his residence.
Born in Egmont Bay, PE, he was the son of the late Benoit and the late Delina (née: Arsenault) Cormier.
He is survived by his wife, Angeline (née: Blanchard) of Dieppe; five daughters: Lorraine Cormier and Della (Raymond) Hebert, both of Moncton, Florence (André) Dupuis of Grande Digue, Yvette (Paul) Gosselin of Dieppe and Linda (Gerry) Godin of Saint John; four sons: Roy (Donna) of Simcoe, ON, Raymond and Louis (Pauline), both of Moncton and Ernest (Patsy Atwell) of Dartmouth, NS; six sisters: Irene Bernard of Dieppe, Zita (Albert) Gallant of Egmont Bay, PE, Imelda (Edmond) Arsenault of Toronto, ON, Ella (Ernest) Caissie of Miscouche, PE, Corinne (Alyre) Arsenault of Wellington, PE and Marguerite Gallant of Summerside, PE; four brothers: Alyre (Yvette) of Egmont Bay, PE, Joseph of Summerside, PE, Toussaint (Yvonne) of Miscouche, PE and Edmond (Lucie) of Wellington, PE; 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three sisters: Therese, Ella and Lucy; one brother, Antoine and also by one grandson, Christopher.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday September 4th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from noon until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, September 5th, 2006 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
