Born in Alberton, PEI he was the son of the late James Gain and the late Dorothy Gain (nee Malone). Tony operated Metro Delivery in Moncton and was known to love driving and fishing.

Tony is survived by his wife, Ann Ferguson (nee Fahey) of Moncton, by his daughter, Amanda Gain (Zack) of Debert, NS; by his son, Jamie Gain of Summerside, PEI; by his stepchildren, Kevin Ferguson (Dorraine) of Harcourt. Ernie Ferguson (Kelsey) of Main River; by his brother, Tom Gain (Sheila) of O’Leary, PEI; by his sister Helen Perry (Steve) of Tignish PEI; by his brother Gerry Connelly (Phyllis) of Fredericton, NB; by his brothers-in-law, Wayne Fahey (Cherry), Mike Fahey (Wendy), Jim Fahey (Nicole) all of McKees Mills and Rodney Fahey (Darlene) of Beersville; by his daughter-in-law, Allison Ferguson of Main River; by his grandchildren, Mitchell Gain-Perry of PEI, Lacey Ferguson (Brian) of Moncton, Colby and Gracie Ferguson of Main River; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Tony was predeceased by his grandsons, Ashton Gain and Devin Ferguson, by his mother-in-law, Edna Fahey (nee spencer); by his father-in-law, Oswald Fahey; by his brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Holly Fahey.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, Moncton, NB, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Chapel Point Cemetery, Main River.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Chapel Point Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
