Born in Village Sainte-Croix de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Pierre and the late Régina Poirier (nee Belliveau). He worked at Jack Victor and Sons in Montreal for over 30 years as a tailor. Trefflé was a veteran of the Second World War; he was also member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 34, Bouctouche, NB.
Trefflé will be missed by his daughter, Linda Poirier of Saint-Thomas, NB; by his two sons, Daniel (Mireille) of Chateauguay, QC and Claude of Moncton, NB; by his sister, Adèle LeBlanc (Aldéric) of Bouctouche Bay; by his brother, Albert Maillet (Hectorine) of Shediac; by his special friend, Aldéa LeBlanc of Bouctouche, NB; by his three grandchildren, Mathieu, Catherine and Julie; by his two great-grandchildren, Carolane and Olivier; and also by several nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to all of the staff of the Stella Maris Hospital, Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, NB and especially to Dr. Pierre LeBlanc for the compassionate care Trefflé received while in your care.
Besides his parents, Trefflé was predeceased by his wife, Doris Poirier (nee Lee); by his two sisters, Alice Jaillet and Aline Poirier; by his three brothers, Fred, Henrie and Willie.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 from 1:00pm till the time of service. Funeral service will be held at Passage Funeral Home Chapel, Shediac Bridge on Thursday, October 13th, 2016 at 3:00pm.
Donations to the Stella Maris Hospital Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
