Dieppe, NB – It is with great sadness that the family of Ulysse C. LeBlanc announce his peaceful passing at the age of 91, surrounded by loved ones, at the Moncton Hospital on Monday, March 6, 2023.
Known for his quick smile and teasing ways, Ulysse loved to regale his dear friends with stories of Moncton lore, followed by a joke and a hearty laugh. A smooth, sharp-dressed dancer, Ulysse could be found with his beloved Anne-Marie tearing up the dance floor whenever possible. A keen gardener, Ulysse spend many afternoons in his Tilly hat, tending to his beautiful rose garden.
For 38 years, Ulysse was employed with the CN, but found true value and enjoyment as the “TV Man” at local hospitals, bringing both his humour, kindness, and, more importantly, the Price is Right, to appreciative patients.
A talented woodworker, Ulysse humbly volunteered his time to many worthy non-profit, hands-on organizations. Ulysse was a proud member of Local 11985, Knights of Columbus and Le Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe for many years.
Ulysse will be sadly missed by his loving partner, Anne-Marie; beloved daughter Dianne; grandchildren Amanda and Tyler; great grandchildren; Liam, Andre, Hendrix and Nash; brother Roger (Jane); brother-in-law Greg Barr; extended family; Kim, Sylvio, Murray, Lisette and Diane; and their children; Jon Paul, Brandon, Samantha, Devan, Delaney, Cameron, Martin and Mylène; and several nieces and nephews.
Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters: Huberte Barr and Aurelda LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held at Passage-Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, on March 24, 2023 from 1 pm to 2:45 pm. Funeral Chapel will follow at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to l’Arbre de l’Espoir or to the charity of your choice.

To Ulysse’s family
Some people you cannot remember and others you cannot forget and Ulysse was one who we never forgot. I worked with Ulysse at CN . When I was a new employee and worked with Ulysse he was very helpful and made it an enjoyable experience. Many stories to be told and always with a smile .After leaving the railway and I would meet up with Ulysse he was always the same , call me by name always interested how I was doing. I have many good memories working with Ulysse . Ulysse spent many hours bringing smiles to patients at the hospital and if there was no money for a rental there was one there out of the kindness in his heart. Very sorry for your loss but hold on to the memories.
