Ulysse J. Gould, 91, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, May 16th, 2016 at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton.
Born in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Israel and the late Sophie (née: Richard) Gould.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Gould worked as a Carpenter in Connecticut, for 45 years. He was a member of Saint-Anselme parish.
He leaves his wife of 68 years, Marie Paule (née: LeBlanc); two sons: George of Dieppe and Richard of Manchester, Connecticut; three sisters: Aurore LeBlanc, Jeannine LeBlanc and Freda (Francis) Cormier all of Memramcook; three grandchildren: Jason (Alysha) Gould of Riverview, Jennie Jackson of Reno, Nevada and Alysia Wolf of Springfield, Vermont; ten great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents; he was predeceased by one sister Amelia and seven brothers: Arthur, Hector, Amedee, Norman, Richard, Gerald and Roger.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 1 to 3 pm.
A celebration of the word will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, May 23nd, 2016 at 3 pm.
Donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation "Oncology" would be appreciated by the family.

Né à Memramcook-Est, il était fils de feu Israel et de feu Sophie (née Richard) Gould.
Avant sa retraite, M. Gould avait travaillé à titre de charpentier pendant 45 ans à Connecticut. Il était membre de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse de 68 années, Marie Paule (née LeBlanc); deux fils: George de Dieppe et Richard de Manchester, Connecticut; trois soeurs: Aurore LeBlanc, Jeannine LeBlanc et Freda (Francis) Cormier tous de Memramcook; trois petits-enfants: Jason (Alysha) Gould de Riverview, Jennie Jackson de Reno, Nevada et Alysia Wolf de Springfield, Vermont; dix arrières petits-enfants; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents; sa sœur Amelia et ses sept frères: Arthur, Hector, Amedee, Norman, Richard, Gerald et Roger l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, (857-1901), le lundi de 13h à 15h.
Une célébration de la parole aura lieu en la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, le lundi 23 mai 2016, à 15h.
Un don à La Fondation des Amis de L’Hôpital de Moncton « Oncologie » serait apprécié par la famille.
