Una Frances Thébeau

Moncton, NB – Una Frances Thébeau, 85, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 8, 2019.

Born in Summerside, PEI, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and the late Harriet Wedge (born Arsenault).

She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed music, dancing, singing and always loved laughing. She maintained her sense of humour and joking to her last days. Her favorite pastimes were Bingo, scratch tickets and crosswords.

Una leaves behind the love of her life, her loving husband of 65 years, Armand Thébeau; her children, Jim (Brenda), Ron (Janice), Roger, Linda and Sandi (John); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacie, Tanner, Chelsea, Rachel, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Michelle; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle, Jesse, Jasmine, Brandon, Caleb, Landon, Hailey; her great great grandchildren, Everly and Jackson.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Geneva Savoie; her two sisters, Alice Cameron and Marjorie Bovard; her brother, James Audie Wedge and her step-father, Gerald Chevarie.

Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625, Mountain Road, Moncton), on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2 pm until time of Celebration of Life at Passage Chapel at 4 pm.

A donation can be made to the Glad Tidings Church or to a charity of your choice.

Special thank you to all the nurses in Palliative Care Unit at the Moncton Hospital for their thoughtful and compassionate caring and to Glad Tidings for the food and snacks in the family room at the hospital as well.
