Valeri Cormier, 75, passed away on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Alphonse and the late Edmée (Goguen) Cormier.
Valeri was a carpenter by trade and a hard worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling in his younger years and enjoyed taking nature photos in his later years. Valeri was known to be very kind and always willing to help someone in need, he would have given his last penny.
He is survived by his children: Louis (Ginette) of Bouctouche and Lise (Tony Duguay) of Bentley, AB; his grandson, Luc; his great grandchildren: Jasmine and Jeremie; his brother, Yvon (Diane) of USA; his special friend, Jeannine Glidden and his nephew friend, Leo Gallant, that helped him a lot.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose-Marie (Cormier) Cormier; his son, Martin; his sisters: Jeanette Landry (Edgar), Sarah Goguen (Alfred), Rita Gallant (Edgar) and Alphonsine Polito (Roland) and by his brothers: Ronald (Maria), Aurel (Alida) and Emery (Violette).
Visitation will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, from 5 pm to 6:45 pm, followed by the service in the chapel at 7 pm.
In Valeri’s memory, a donation can be made to a memorial of choice.
