Shediac, NB – Valeri J. Legere, 89, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, July 6, 2019.

Born in St-André, NB, he was the son of the late George and the late Adeline Legere (born Bourque).

Valeri will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Aline Legere (born Cormier); his son, Valmond of Markham, ON; his daughter, Denise Vandelaar (Ron) of Oakville, ON; his sister, Lorraine Landry (late Emile) of Shediac; his five grandchildren, David, Karen, Steven, Jacqueline and Catherine; his eight great grandchildren, Kyle, Curtis, Jacob, Savannah, Josh, Rachel, Olivia and William; his three sisters-in-law, Lorraine of Grand-Barachois, Elenor of Cap-Pelé and Lorraine of Flesherton, ON; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Basil George; his siblings, Albert, Adrice, Aimé and Lina; also by two infant brothers, Léo-Paul and Joseph and one infant sister, Yvonne.

Visitation will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 10 am to 11 am. Followed by a procession for burial at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila Cemetery in Cap-Pelé.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
