Shediac River – Valeri Melanson, 60, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 11, 2012, after a sudden illness.
Born in Shediac Bridge on November 27, 1951, he was the son of Joseph and late Doris (Richard) Melanson.
Valeri will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane; his two daughters, Monique Melanson of Shediac River and Nicole Melanson (Martin) of Dieppe; his three brothers, Ronald (Cheryl) of Irishtown, Ovila (Anita) of Shediac Bridge, Leon (Juliette) of Cocagne; his two sisters, Marie Pettrela (Dominique) of New Newington, CT., Jeannette Landry (Ronald) of Shediac Bridge; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In respect to Valeri’s wishes there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11am.
Donations to the family or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
