Cocagne, NB – Valérie Arsenault, 81, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Clovis and Régina (Girouard) Arsenault.
Valérie will be sadly missed by his children, Rachelle Bourgeois, Sandra (Bernie Bourgeois), Gilles (Monique), Charlie and Guy (Marcia); his special friend, Bernadette LeBlanc; his sisters, Merelda (Francis Goguen), Francine, Dorine (Feu Ronaldo Arsenault) and Gloria (Feu Yvon Maillet); his brothers, Évérard (Loretta) and Ronald (Léola); a sister-in-law, Mina Arsenault; the mother of his children, Jeannita (Richard) Arsenault; his grandchildren, Marcel, Rémi, Maryse, France, Karine, Amanda and Jacques; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Alphérie.
Visitations will be at the Slumber Room in Cocagne, on Sunday, August 17th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Monday, August 18th from 10:00 am until time of funeral service. Funeral service will be held at the St. Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 18th at 11 am.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Chudumont Foundation (Cancer Dept.) or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
