Joseph “Valmond” Belliveau, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Friday, April 30, 2021, at the age of 79.
Born in St-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Emile and the late Edmée (nee: Belliveau) Belliveau.
Prior to retirement he worked in construction.
He is survived by his two daughters: Lisa (Marco) Papillon and Joanne both of Dieppe; his son Ricky (Christine Léger) of Memramcook; his two sisters: Claudette (Ronald) LeBlanc of Grand-Barachois and Armelle Belliveau of Mirabel, QC; his two brothers: Gérald (Réjeanne) Belliveau and Aldéo (Thérèse) Belliveau both of Moncton; his two grandchildren: Dominic (Josianne) Papillon and Stéphane (Robyn) Papillon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Fernande Belliveau (2014) and his grandson Corey Belliveau.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
Interment at St-Jacques Parish Cemetery, Scoudouc, NB.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer Society or charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated.

Né à St-Paul, N.-B., il était le fils de feu Emile et de feu Edmée (née: Belliveau) Belliveau.
Avant de prendre sa retraite, il travaillait dans la construction.
Il laisse dans le deuil ses deux filles: Lisa (Marco) Papillon et Joanne toutes deux de Dieppe; son fils Ricky (Christine Léger) de Memramcook; ses deux soeurs: Claudette (Ronald) LeBlanc de Grand-Barachois et Armelle Belliveau de Mirabel, QC; ses deux frères: Gérald (Réjeanne) Belliveau et Aldéo (Thérèse) Belliveau tous deux de Moncton; ses deux petits-enfants: Dominic (Josianne) Papillon et Stéphane (Robyn) Papillon; ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux.
Outre ses parents, il a été précédé par sa femme Fernande Belliveau (2014) et son petit-fils Corey Belliveau.
En raison de la pandémie COVID-19, un service privé aura lieu en la chapelle le mercredi 5 mai 2021.
L’inhumation au cimetière paroissial St-Jacques, Scoudouc, NB.
Un don à la Fondation des maladies du cœur, à la Société Alzheimer ou à un organisme de bienfaisance au choix du donateur serait grandement apprécié.
Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, NB. (857-1901).
