Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB – Valmond Caissie, 90, passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Born in Ste-Anne-de-Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Gonzague and the late Imelda Caissie (born Gallant).

Valmond will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of sixty-six years of marriage, Lizianne Caissie of Ste-Anne-de-Kent; his daughter, Nicole Caissie of Bouctouche; his two daughters-in-law, Anne-Marie of Ste-Anne-de-Kent and Gladys of Moncton; his two brothers, Emery Caissie (Jeannine) of Fitchburg, Mass, and Ernest Caissie (Carmella) of Moncton; his two sisters, Gisèle LeBlanc (Normand) of Bouctouche and Germaine of Waltham, Mass; his six grandchildren, Marcel, Stéphane, Vicky, Anne, Nadine and Tina; his eleven great-grandchildren; also by his several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Paul and Claude; three sisters, Olea, Stella and Carmella; six brothers, Clarence, Léo, Joseph, Omer, Blair and Roméo.

Visitation will be held at Ste-Anne-de-Kent RC Church Slumber room on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and from 5pm until time of Funeral Service at 7pm.
