Cocagne, NB – William Ian Stewart, 85, passed away peacefully at Villa Providence in Shediac, on Friday 21, 2024.
Born in Scotland, he was the son of the late John and the late Margaret Stewart.
William will be sadly missed by his life-partner: Helen Matthews and her son: Cary Matthews of Cocagne. William’s children: Elizabeth Porcellato (Late Lucio) of Guelph, ON, George of Brampton, ON, Margaret Terrey (Fred Bates) and Yvonne Garvolho (Tony) both of Guelph, ON; his siblings: Alan and Margaret both of Scotland; his 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister.
As per the request from the family, there will be no visitation or funeral service.

Our condolences to Helen, Carey & Cain on the loss of Ian. Ian was a very kind quiet man. We enjoyed many evenings watching and sitting next to one another at the Wildcats hockey games. Rest in Peace Ian.6
