Cap-Pelé, NB – William (Willie) LeBlanc, 93, passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, October 2, 2017, after a brief illness.
Born in Saint-André, NB, he was the son of the late Jules and Adelma (Richard) LeBlanc.
William was a gamekeeper and worked at Paturel Seafood in Shediac. He loved fishing, playing Bingo, cards, darts, bowling and spending time with his grandchildren.
William will be sadly missed by his two sons, Ronald of Cap-Pelé and Danny (Nelly) of Toronto, ON.; his two daughters, Lucille LeBlanc and Jeanine Gaudet (Marc) both of Cap-Pelé; his two brothers, Adrien (late Mildred) of Five Islands, NS and Donald (Jeannine) of Petit-Cap; his eight grandchildren, Jolyne, Jeremie, Rebecca, Mélanie, Thomas-Jayrell, Jennifer, Josée and Jani; his five great grandchildren, Myriam, Jacob, Markus, Lukas and Samuel; his cousin, Albert; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Eva (2000); three sisters, Marie-Anne, Louise and Jeannine; one brother, Adrice.
Visitations will be at Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church slumber room in Cap-Pelé, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service at Sainte-Thérèse-d’Avila RC Church at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated by the family.
