Willis DesRoches, 80, of Melanson Road, passed away on Saturday, January 20th, 2007, at his residence.
Born in North Bedeque, PE, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late Denise (née: Arsenault) DesRoches.
Mr. DesRoches had retired from Swift Meats after 32 years. He also operated a farm and had a passion for antiques and flea markets.
He is survived by three daughters: Bertha (Joe) Bourque of Melanson Rd, Jeanne (late Ola) LeBlanc of Chartersville and Dorine (Roger) Melanson of Moncton; four sons: Arthur (Shirley) of Moncton, Raymond (Aurella), Leonard (Thérèse),and Ronnie (Joanne), all three of Melanson Rd; one brother, Leonard of London, ON; 11 grandchildren: Donny, Cindy, Rachel (Mario), Roger, David (Kim), Michel (Kelly), Suzanne (Lucas), Alice (Michel), Joanne (Gilles), Justin and Jéremie; 6 great grandchildren: Mathieu, Nicole, Tristan, Paris, Gabrielle and Ashlyn as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Florence in 2000; two sisters: Mary and Theresa and also by three brothers: Tony, Arthur and Alyre.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Monday, January 22nd, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Tuesday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St.-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 at 11 am.
Interment in St.-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
