Winnifred (Winnie) Arsenault
1935 ~ 2022

Cocagne, NB, – At the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre of Moncton, on Wednesday, March 30th, 2022, passed away peacefully Mrs. Winnie Arsenault at the age of86 years old.

Born in Cocagne, NB, she was the daughter of the late René Goguen and the late Helene Goguen born Maillet.

Winnie has now begun the journey in the next chapter of her life and she will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 67 years of marriage, Edouard Arsenault of Cocagne; her son, René Arsenault of USA; her daughter, Joanne (Éric) of Irishtown; two brothers, Elmo Goguen (Suzanne) of Cocagne and Roger Goguen (Rose) of Notre-Dame; her sister, Jeannine Davis of USA; three grandchildren, Jason, Lisa and Tina; three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alek and Matthew; As well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Winnie is now resting beside her brother, Roméo Goguen (Yvette).

In respect of Winnie’s wishes, there will be no visitation. The Celebration of her life will be held from Passage Funeral Chapel of Shediac Bridge on Thursday, April 7th, 2022, at 11am.

A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
