Yvette Bialko, 74, of Riverview, NB, passed away on Saturday, October 12th, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of Dorilla G. (née: Melanson) and the late Henri O. Gauvin.
Yvette moved to New York in 1959 from Dover, NB, where she met and married Andrew E. Bialko on May 12, 1962. They lived in North Tarrytown until the end of 1991, when they retired to Pulaski, NY. After his passing in 1993, she returned to New Brunswick and has resided in Riverview, with her beloved mother. She was a member of the French Club in North Tarrytown, NY, the Catholic Daughters of America and Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in Riverview, NB.
Besides her mother, Dorilla, she will be sadly missed by her children: Sharon (Robert) Kelly of Monroe, NY and Andrew (Katherine) Bialko of Cortlandt Manor, NY; four grandchildren: Samantha Kelly, Ashley, Andrew and Elizabeth Bialko; six sisters: Florence (late Jean-Marie) LeBlanc, Mai (Tilmon) Gosselin, Rachel (late Abbé) Bourgeois, Stella (Edward) Smith, Francine (Wolf) Kutnahorsky and Monique Gauvin (Michel Leduc); one brother, Paul-Emile (Sue) Gauvin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Andrew; one sister, Jeannette and also by one brother, Roger.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm ONLY.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Riverview, NB on Thursday, October 17th, 2013 at 11 am.
Donations to the Leukemia Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Yvette à déménagé du Nouveau-Brunswick à New York en 1959, où elle à rencontrée et mariée, Andrew E. Bialko, le 12 mai, 1962. Ils ont vécu à North Tarrytown, NY, jusqu’en 1991, ensuite à Pulaski, NY pour leur retraite. Après le décès d’Andrew en 1993, elle est revenue à Riverview, N.-B., pour vivre avec sa mère.
Mme Bialko était membre du French Club de North Tarrytown, NY, the Catholic Daughters of America et de la paroisse Immaculate Heart of Mary à Riverview, N.-B.
Outre sa mère, Dorilla, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Sharon (Robert) Kelly de Monroe, NY et Andrew (Katherine) Bialko de Cortlandt Manor, NY; quatre petits-enfants: Samantha Kelly, Ashley, Andrew et Elizabeth Bialko; six soeurs: Florence (feu Jean-Marie) LeBlanc, Mai (Tilmon) Gosselin, Rachel (feu Abbé) Bourgeois, Stella (Edward) Smith, Francine (Wolf) Kutnahorsky et Monique Gauvin (Michel Leduc); un frère, Paul-Emile (Sue) Gauvin, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre son père, son époux, Andrew; une soeur, Jeannette ainsi qu’un frère, Roger l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mercredi de 19h à 21h SEULEMENT.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Immaculate Heart of Mary à Riverview, N.-B., le jeudi 17 octobre, 2013, à 11h.
Un don à la Société de leucémie, Fondation des maladies du cœur, Société de la sclérose en plaques ou la Société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié par la famille.
