In Loving Memory Of
Yvon Boucher
1944 ~ 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Yvon Boucher, 79, on Thursday, December 28th, 2023, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Saint-Paul, he was the son of the late Théophile and the late Alphonsine Boucher (Bernard).

Yvon will be sadly missed by his daughters: Denise Thébeau (Ken), Murielle Boucher, Rose-May Cormier all three of Moncton, and Jeanne Boucher (Cal) of Memramcook; his grandchildren: Christopher, Samantha, Mathieu, Nathaniel, Isabelle, Danika, Dominique, and Desirae; his great grandchildren: Alex, Ava, Felix, and Ryker; his sisters: Marie-Anne Leger (late Raoul), Alice Caissie (late Gerard), Lucie Williams (Raymond) all three from Saint-Antoine, Irène Cormier (Aurèle) of Moncton, and Annie Leger (Jean) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant sister, Ida.

Yvon worked as a welder for Apex and Tri-Gil until his retirement. He loved music, and was fond of line dancing and two steppin’ seven days a week.

Visitations will take place at Saint-Paul RC Church (6476 Route 515, Saint-Paul) on Friday, January 5th, 2024, from 2:00pm until time of service. The funeral service will be held in the church at 4:00pm.

  5. During my youth, Ivan and I were little cousins living at my grandfathers, and then, after the drowning accident of our parents, my sisters moved in with our aunt and Yvon was as a brother to them we really liked him and he was a man who loved to dance we will miss him

  9. We had hoped to be at the funeral but we cannot attend so we send our condolences to all the family : daughters, sisters and all those that have been a part of his life. RIP Yvon.
