Born in Allardville, NB, he was the son of the late Célestin and the late Christine Dugas (nee Savoie).
Yvon will be missed by his loving wife, Rose-Anna Dugas of Cocagne; by his son, Serge (Lucia) of Cocagne; by his daughter, Gaétane Dugas-Collette (Raoul, Jr.) of Grande-Digue; by his sister, Odette Désroches (Léo) of Saint-Louis-de-Kent; by his two grandchildren, Justin Dugas and Érica Collette; also by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, Yvon was predeceased by his sister, Jeannine Perry and by his brother, Omer Dugas.
By Yvon’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Église St-Pierre de Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00pm.
Donations to the CHU Dumont (Oncology department) would be appreciated by the family.
