1926 – 2020
Cap-Pelé- Yvon Landry, 93, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, on Monday, September 28th, 2020.
Born in Dupuis Corner, NB, he was the son of the late Sylvain and the late Annie (née: Richard) Landry.
Prior to retirement, Yvon worked as a meat peddler and for Landry / Landry. He was member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Cap-Pelé and Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila Parish.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Annette (née: Cormier); four daughters: Carmelle (Norbert) Gaudet and Jeannette Cormier, both of Cap-Pelé, Claudette (John) McCabe of Pictou, NS and Louise Blenman (Mason Ingersoll) of Grand-Manan; one son, Roger Landry (Sherley Jones) of Cap-Pelé; six sisters: Loretta (late Ted) Doiron, Louisa (late Gerard) Niles and Aline (late Azor) Landry, all three of Cap-Pelé, Jeannine (late Adrice) LeBlanc of Saint-André-LeBlanc, Annette (Freddy) Cormier and Lilliane (late Leo) LeBlanc, both of Cap-Pelé; nine grandchildren: Lise, Joline, Monica, Anik, Joël, Julie, Marc, Martin and Félix; nine great grandchildren: Maxime, Alex, Olivier, Kaleb, Ariel, Axel, Sienna, Jaxon and Mattéo, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers: Evariste, Raymond and Valerie.
No visitation prior to funeral.
A private funeral mass will be held at Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap-Pelé.
Everyone attending the Funeral service will be mandated to wear a face mask.
