Grande-Digue, NB – Yvon Léger, 69, passed away suddenly at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Cyrille Léger and the late Rita (nee Guimond).
Yvon will be sadly missed by his wife, Bernadette Léger (Caissie); his children, Michel of Grande-Digue and Claudette Léger (Reggie Cormier) of St-Antoine; his granddaughter, Maiya; his brother, Valmond of Memramcook; his six sisters, Bernadette Caissie (Alvin), Fernande LeBlanc (Gérard) both of Bouctouche, Annette Killam (late Daniel) of Moncton, Jeannita Breau (Ernest), Denise Léger (Donald) both of Grande-Digue and Francine Léger (Pierre Belliveau) of Shediac; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Yvette, Jeannita and Dorilla; his four brothers, Laurie, Camille, Maurice and Joseph.

Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation RC Church in Grande-Digue, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 7 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to “Pépére Boîte à Lunch” or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
