It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, Yvonne Bourque. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital on November 5th, 2010.

She resided in Moncton/Dieppe, most of her adult life.

Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, on September 10th, 1919, she was the daughter of late Alyre and the late Annie (née: LeBlanc) Allain.

Yvonne worked several years at the Brunswick Hotel and Hotel Beauséjour as a banquet server. She took great pride in the dignitaries she served throughout her career. She was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and the Dieppe Senior Bowling League, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, darts and knitting blankets for different charities, but her true passion was spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters: Annette (Valmont) Gauvin, Bernice Johnston (Emery Melanson) and Dianne (John) Johnson, all three of Dieppe; three sons: Normand (Betty Allison) of Miramichi, Leonard (Gloria) of Dieppe and Bernard (Kim Ricker) of Riverview; one sister, Pauline Lacombe of Cambridge, Mass; one brother, Alcide Allain of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; nine grandchildren: Charles, Guy, Monette, Karen Wilson, Terry, Karen Bushey, Terrie, Kelly and Mathieu, several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Emile in 1963; her precious daughter, Paulette in 2002; one sister, Geneva Arseneault and also by three brothers: Ulysse, Emile and Oscar.

At her request, there will no public visitation at the funeral home.

Funeral mass will be celebrated from the Ste-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB, on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010 at 2 pm.

Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

The family will receive relatives and friends to share memories and refreshments at a reception to follow.

 Donations to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

À l’Hôpital Dr Georges-L.-Dumont de Moncton, le vendredi 5 novembre 2010, à l’âge de 91 ans, entourée de sa famille, est décédée paisiblement Yvonne Bourque. Elle demeurait à Dieppe, N.-B.

Née à Ste-Marie-de-Kent, N.-B., le 10 septembre, 1919, elle était fille de feu Alyre et de feu Annie (née: LeBlanc) Allain.

Mme Bourque avait travaillé pour l’Hôtel Bruswick et l’Hôtel Beauséjour conmme serveuse de banquet et était fier des dignitaires qu’elle avait servi. Elle était membre du Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe et du “Dieppe Senior Bowling”, elle aimait participé aux jeux de quilles, de cartes, de fléchette ainsi que de tricoter, mais sa passion était sa famille.

Elle laisse dans le deuil trois filles: Annette (Valmont) Gauvin, Bernice Johnston (Emery Melanson) et Dianne (John) Johnson, toutes de Dieppe; trois fils: Normand (Betty Allison) de Miramichi, Leonard (Gloria) de Dieppe et Bernard (Kim Ricker) de Riverview; une soeur, Pauline Lacombe de Cambridge, Mass; un frère, Alcide Allain de Ste-Marie-de-Kent; neuf petits-enfants: Charles, Guy, Monette, Karen Wilson, Terry, Karen Bushey, Terrie, Kelly et Mathieu, plusieurs arrière petits-enfants ainsi que des neveux et nieces.

Son époux, Emile en 1963; sa fille bien-aimée, Paulette en 2002, une soeur, Geneva Arseneault ainsi que trois frères; Ulysse, Emile et Oscar l’ont précédée dans la tombe.

À sa demande, aucune visite au salon.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Ste-Thérèse, Dieppe, N.-B., le mardi 9  novembre 2010, à 14h.

L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame du Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.

 Une réception pour les amis et amies suivra.

Un don à une oeuvre de beinfaissance de choix serait apprecié par la famille.
