Irishtown, NB – Yvonne Caissie, 76, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and the late Elodie LeBlanc (born Cormier).

Yvonne will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Louis Caissie; her children, Jean-Louis Caissie (Cathie) of Dieppe, Josette Gagnon (Donald) of Scotch Sett, Gisèle Léger (Jean) of St-Antoine, Ginette Caissie (Daniel) of Ste-Marie and Paul Caissie (Rachel) of Irishtown; her grandchildren, Chantal (Marc), Nathalie (Ian), Denis (Jodie), Julie, Joey (Zoé), Jessica (Rémi), Luc (Julie) and Celine (Martin); her great grandchildren, Bella, Paige, Olivier, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Jean-Luc, Yalenis and Pilouck; her sisters, Madeleine Dunstan (late Dale) of Petitcodiac and Gloria LeBlanc of Fitchburg, Mass; her brother, Vernon LeBlanc (Pauline) of Memramcook; her brother-in-law, Carmen of London, ON; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and her very special furry friend, Molly.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Marcel; her brother, Edouard “Sonny” and her sister, Verna.

Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 9 am until time of funeral service at Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge at 11 am, with a maximum of 60 people, due to the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Lung Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
