Cocagne – Yvonne Cormier, 78, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. Yvonne was the wife of the late Camille Cormier.

Born in Shediac, NB on May 7th, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Édouard and the late Alice (Pellerin) Melanson.

Yvonne will sadly be missed by her two daughters, Camilla Doucette (Claude) of Grand Bay-Westfield, NB, Berthe Allain (Désiré) of Cocagne; two sons, Charles-Yvon Cormier (Jeannette) of Ste-Marie-de-Kent, Paul Cormier (Jacqueline) of Cocagne; two sisters, Loretta Boucher (Jean Claude) of Montreal, QC, Juliette; one brother, Ovila Cormier (Jean) of Virginia, USA; two granddaughters, Tammy (Greg) and Lisa (Mathieu); one grandson, Randy (Mélanie); and three great grandchildren, Emma, Isabella and Madison.

Besides her parents and her husband, Camille (2010), Yvonne was predeceased by one sister, France, and one brother, Louis.

Visitations will be held at the Cocagne Slumber Room in the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 at 11am.

Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care unit) would be appreciated by the family.
