Yvonne Gallant, 81, of Villa du Repos, Moncton and formerly of Dieppe and St. Antoine, passed away on Tuesday, January 30th, 2007, at her residence.
Born in Cap de Richibuctou, NB, she was the daughter of the late Florion and the late Célina (née: Caissie) Richard.
She was a member of Notre-Dame de Lorette Parish.
She is survived by four daughters: Norma Gallant of Toronto, Joan (Leonard) Léger of Cocagne, Linda (Jean-Paul) Léger of Dieppe and Lorianne (Barrie) Conrad of Cambridge, ON; one son, Ronald (Daphne) of St. Anselme; five sisters: Alphonsine (Exibé) Léger of Bedec, NB, Emilienne Léger, Thérèse Cormier and Annette Robichaud all three of St. Antoine and Christine (Clément) Jaillet of Bouctouche; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Eloi in 1996, one sister, Lyola and by five brothers: Laurie, Eloi, Raymond, Ronald and Emile.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday January 31st , 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 8:30 am until time of departure. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church (Lakeburn), on Thursday, February 1st, 2007 at 9:30 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
