Zoël Richard, 81, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday April 2, 2016. He was married to the late Alice (Richard) Richard (2008). Born on April 5, 1934, he was the son of the late Judes and the late Anna (Allain) Richard.
He was a Millwright in a manufacturing plant.
He will be sadly missed by his two children; Gisèle Chaisson (Joseph) of Portland, ME and Jean-Paul (Cathy) of Gardner, MA, one granddaughter, Jennifer and two great grandchildren; Sebastian and Sabrina and his dear friend Marie-Anne Comeau of Pennfield. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; Doris Watson of Moncton, Rita Rushford (Claude) of Ontario as well as several nephews and nieces.
he was predeceased by one brother Laurie and two sisters, May and Lorraine.
As per Zoël’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Francois de Sales Church in Rogersville on Friday April 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
