Cocagne, NB – Adelard (Dollard) LeBlanc, 68, passed away in a car accident in Cocagne, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
Born in Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB, on June 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Sylvain and the late Alida (McCaie) LeBlanc.
Adelard enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors and watching the Montreal Canadiens hockey games. He was a hard worker, he worked for twenty-one years at MacDonald Paving and the last few years at the Shediac Lobster Shop.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Yvette (Mills) LeBlanc; his two daughters, Louise Manuel (Francis) of Dieppe and Denise Macleod (Troy) of Quispamsis; his two brothers, Alyre LeBlanc (Regina) of Dieppe and Raymond LeBlanc (Rita) of Notre-Dame-de-Kent; his five sisters, Sister Rose-Anna LeBlanc of Bouctouche, Fernande LeBlanc of Moncton, Hélène Babineau (late Laurie) of Irishtown, Edna Gillespie (Ian) and Bertha Redmond (Aidan) both of Toronto, ON; his four grandchildren, Yanick, Amélie, Chantelle and Owen; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Henri, Alphé, Léo and Gerard; one infant brother, Edgar.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 7 pm.
