Moncton – Adrien Caissie, 64, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 22, after a brief illness.
Born in St-Philippe, NB, he was the son of the late Jean and Jeanne (Gallant) Caissie.
Adrien will be sadly missed by his two sons, Jean-Pierre of Moncton and Lucien (Ashley) of Irishtown; his three brothers, Louis (Yvonne) of Irishtown, Robert, (Rita) of St-Philippe and Andy (Phyllis) of Moncton; his five sisters, Maria Robichaud (Rémi) of Dieppe, Thérèse Robichaud (Charles) of St-Charles, Hélèna Vaughan (Bob) of Riverview, Lorraine Reed (Murray) of St-Philippe and Carole Petitpas (Richard) of Moncton; his granddaughter, London; also several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one infant brother, Jean-Paul and one infant sister, Germaine.
Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, March 27 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, March 28 at 11 am.
Donations to the Habitat for Humanity or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
