Shediac River, NB – Albert Poirier, 76, passed away accidentally on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Born in Grande-Digue, NB, he was the son of the late Henrie and the late Clarinda Poirier (born Babineau).
Albert will be missed by his daughters, Christine Poirier of Shediac River and Francine Poirier Cox (Robert Cox) of Toronto; his brothers and sisters, Gérard (Florida) of Grande-Digue, Florence (late Aurèle) of Gardner, MA, Irène (Bill) of Maynard, Jeanne (late Roger) of Framingham, MA, Pierre (Carole) of Thornbury, Léonard (Claire), Maria (Louis), Normand (Rita) and Julia (Léo) all of Grande-Digue; his grandchildren, Megan Freeman (Cory Brun), Jacob Freeman and Sarah Comeau; his great grandson, Mason Brun, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Poirier (February 2019); two sisters, Doris and Corinne, and one brother, Paul-Emile.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Sunday, July 7, 2019, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. There will be no visitation on Monday morning. Funeral service will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Monday, July 8 2019, at 11am.
