– Alfreda Caissie, 74, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.Born in Scoudouc, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and the late Thérèse Melanson (Bourgeois).
Alfreda will be sadly missed by her children: Danny Caissie (Monica) of Fredericton, Richard McKay (Joy) of PEI and Judith Caissie (Glenn Price) of Moncton; her sister: Jeanne Melanson of Moncton; her grandchildren: James (Roxanne), Maria (Tim), Justin, Jasmine, Wesley, Alana, Lynea and Chandler; her great grandson: Evan; the father of her children Danny and Judith: John Caissie; the father of her son, Richard: Léo-Paul Goguen; also by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: William, Paul (baby) and Linda (baby).
Visitations will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625 Mountain Road, Moncton), on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2pm to 4 pm and on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 2pm until time of funeral service at Chapel at 3 pm. The funeral will be broadcast continuously and can be viewed live on Passage Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PassageFH/
