Amedée Robichaud, 94, of Résidence Bellevue, formerly of Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday, November 2nd, 2009 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born in Saint-Norbert de Kent, NB, he was the son of the late Jean and the late Emelienne (née: Boucher) Robichaud.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Robichaud had worked 32 years with the C.N. and was a member of the Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church Parish, Dieppe, NB.
He is survived by five daughters: Cecile (Gary) Capson of Indian Mountain, Alphonsine (William) Millican of Dieppe, Florence Robichaud and Yvette (Robert) Noel, both of Moncton and Bernice Robichaud of Ottawa, ON; three sons: Clarence (Lita) of Notre-Dame, Donald (Hazel) of Dieppe and Bernard of Riverview; one brother, Adélin of Saint-Louis; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Rita (née: LeBlanc) in 2001; two sisters: Leonie and Corinne and also by three brothers: Alyre, François and Telesphore.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (857-1901), on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and also on Thursday from 9: 30 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Thursday, November 5th, 2009 at 10: 30 am.
Interment in the Saint-Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

À l’Hôpital Dr Georges-L. Dumont de Moncton, le lundi 2 novembre 2009, à l’âge de 94 ans, est décédé Amedée Robichaud, domicilié à la Résidence Bellevue autrefois de la rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B.
Né à Saint-Norbert de Kent, N.-B., il était fils de feu Jean et de feu Emelienne (née: Boucher) Robichaud.
Avant sa retraite, M. Robichaud avait travaillé pour 32 ans au C.N. et était membre de la paroisse Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B.
Il laisse dans le deuil cinq filles: Cecile (Gary) Capson de Indian Mountain, Alphonsine (William) Millican de Dieppe, Florence Robichaud et Yvette (Robert) Noel, toutes deux de Moncton et Bernice Robichaud de Ottawa, ON; trois fils: Clarence (Lita) de Notre-Dame, Donald (Hazel) de Dieppe et Bernard de Riverview; un frère, Adélin de Saint-Louis; 12 petits-enfants; 7 arrière petits-enfants ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son épouse, Rita (née: LeBlanc) en 2001; deux soeurs: Leonie et Corinne ainsi que trois frères: Alyre, François et Telesphore l’ont précédé dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mercredi de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h ainsi que le jeudi de 9h 30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B., le jeudi 5 novembre, 2009 à 10h 30.
