It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew Joseph Burns announces his passing in the early hours of Sunday, July 15th 2012, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 79.
Andrew is survived by Edna, his wife of 57 years, and his three sons: Joe (Wendy), Clarence (Louise) and Steven. He will be fondly remembered by his three granddaughters: Tammy, Angela (Matt) and Kaitlynn. He will also be missed by his many brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and his many nieces and nephews. Andrew was born in New Waterford, Cape Breton, but resided for many years in Bradford, Ontario, and for the past four years he and Edna have resided in Dieppe, NB. Andrew had been retired from the CN Rail Express for over 20 years.
Cremation has taken place.
