Lewisville, NB – Anita Cormier, 97, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, after a brief illness.
Born in New Westminster, BC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eléonora (Arsenault) Cormier.
Anita will be missed by her daughter, Nora Chant of Moncton; her two sons, Paul (Vivian) of Halifax and Norman (Rose) of Moncton; her ten grandchildren, Lori Shea (Robert), Steven Nixon (Tammy), André (MJ), Nicole, Mike all of Moncton, Christine (Bruno) of Halifax, Lisa of Calgary, Roger, Joanne and Denise all of Moncton; her two step-grandsons, Derek (Heather) of Halifax and Donnie of Moncton; her fourteen great grandchildren, Macy, Hannah, Riley, Jessica, Isabelle, Connor, Kaylee, Jessie, Julien, Samuel, Benjamin, Caleb, Emma, Lois; her step-great-grandson, Fletcher her great great grandson, Hayse; her two special nephews, Brian and Ricky.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jude; her son, Émile; her five sisters, Alice, Alvina, Marianne, Jean and Evelyn.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 7 to 9 pm and on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 12 to 1 pm. Funeral service will be celebrated at Passage Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 1 pm. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe.
