Anna Landry, 77, formerly of Chartersville Road, Dieppe, NB, passed away on Monday, October 24th, 2011, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in St.-Charles, NB, she was the daughter of the late Felix and the late Madelaine (née: Doucet) Robichaud.
Mrs. Landry was a licensed cook and cake decorator. She had a passion for knitting and was known for the slippers she knitted for friends and family. She also was talented in quilting, which she shared by quilting beautiful blankets for her family.
She is survived by her children: Raymond (Cécile) Landry of Dieppe, Doreen (Omer) Melanson of Dieppe, Gloria (Gaston) Pineault of Gatineau, QC, Georges Landry of Moncton and Emma Daigle of Dieppe; 10 grandchildren: Charles, Angèle, Nadine, Luc, Tina, Marc, Sylvie, Natalie, Colin and Sarah; 12 great grandchildren; six sisters: Noëlla (Emile) Cormier of Rexton, Geneva (late Ovila) Chevarie of St.-Charles, Bernadette Robichaud of St.-Louis, Dorice (Francis) Despres of Dieppe, Marie-Reine (Roger) Hébert of St.-Louis and Gilberte Robichaud of Ottawa, ON; five brothers: Éloi (Émerise) Robichaud of St.-Charles, Yvon Robichaud of St.-Louis, Ola Robichaud of Richibucto, Guy (Simone) Robichaud of Richibucto-Village and Claude Robichaud (Louisa) of St.-Louis as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gérard in October, 1993; three sisters: Marie (1946), Emma (1960) and Aurèla (1997); three brothers: Jean-Paul (1974), Gérald (2006) and Léon (2007) and also by one half-brother, Emery (1998).
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of departure.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Thursday, October 27th, 2011, at 11 am.
Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.

Née à St-Charles, N.-B., elle était fille de feu Felix et de feu Madelaine (née: Doucet) Robichaud.
Mme Landry était cuisinière et décoratrice de gâteaux. Elle avait une passion pour le tricot et elle était reconnue pour ses pantoufles qu’elle tricotait pour ses amis et sa famille. Elle avait aussi un talent pour le piquage. Elle confectionnait de magnifiques couvertures qu’elle partageait avec sa famille.
Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Raymond (Cécile) Landry de Dieppe, Doreen (Omer) Melanson de Dieppe, Gloria (Gaston) Pineault de Gatineau, QC, Georges Landry de Moncton et Emma Daigle de Dieppe; 10 petits-enfants: Charles, Angèle, Nadine, Luc, Tina, Marc, Sylvie, Natalie, Colin et Sarah; 12 arrière petits-enfants; six soeurs: Noëlla (Emile) Cormier de Rexton, Geneva (feu Ovila) Chevarie de St-Charles, Bernadette Robichaud de St-Louis, Dorice (Francis) Despres de Dieppe, Marie-Reine (Roger) Hébert de St-Louis et Gilberte Robichaud d’Ottawa, ON; cinq frères: Éloi (Émerise) Robichaud de St-Charles, Yvon Robichaud de St-Louis, Ola Robichaud de Richibucto, Guy (Simone) Robichaud de Richibucto-Village et Claude Robichaud (Louisa) de St-Louis ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Son époux, Gérard en Octobre, 1993; trois soeurs: Marie (1946), Emma (1960) et Aurèla (1997); trois frères: Jean-Paul (1974), Gérald (2006) et Léon (2007) ainsi qu’un demi-frère, Emery (1998), l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Les visites auront lieu à la Maison funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe, N.-B., (857-1901) le mercredi de 14 à 16h et de 19 à 21h et le jeudi de 10 h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église Saint-Anselme, Dieppe, N.-B., le jeudi 27 octobre 2011, à 11h.
L’inhumation se fera au cimetière Notre-Dame-du-Calvaire, Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Hôpital Dr Georges-L.-Dumont serait apprécié par la famille.
