 Grand-Barachois, NB – Antoine Leger, 62, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, after a short illness.

Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, he was the son of the late Emile and Pauline (Cormier) Leger.

Antoine was working at Duguay Fish Packers. He had a passion of growing vegetables. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Grand-Barachois.

Antoine will be sadly missed by his wife, Georgette (Fougère); his two sons, Stephen (Nicole) and Marc, both of Grand-Barachois; his daughter, Janick Cormier of Cap-Pelé; his three sisters, Edna Cloney, Emilie MacKay (Gerald), both of Moncton and Phyllis Beal (Murray) of Sackville; his three grandchildren, Kassandra, Aaron and Parker; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one infant sister, Christine.

Visitations will be at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, January 8th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and on Friday, January 9th, from 9 to 10 am. Funeral Mass will be at the St-Henri Roman Catholic Church in Barachois, on Friday, January 9th at 10:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the family or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
