Armand LeBlanc, 72, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Saturday, October 6th, 2012, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center.
Born in Saint-Anselme, NB, he was the son of the late Gerard and the late Eva (née: Savoie) LeBlanc.
Mr. LeBlanc had retired from the Times and Transcript, after 42 years of service, as a building supervisor and lynotype operator. He enjoyed hockey and above all took great pride in his playing with the Saint-Anselme Oldtimers. He was a member of the Saint-Anselme parish.
Beside his step-mother, Dorice Leger of Shediac, he is survived by his wife, Jeannine (née: Gautreau); one son, Guy (Patricia) of Dieppe; four sisters: Dorine (late Mathias) Leger of Amherst, NS, Jackie (Austin) Esty of Fredericton, Sylvia (Roger) Cormier and Eva-Mai (Mike) Gayton, both of Dieppe; three step-sisters: Lillianne (Denis) Roy and Bernice LeBlanc, both of Moncton and Suzanne of Calgary, AB; three step-brothers: Gilles (Linda) LeBlanc of Memramcook, Roger LeBlanc of Moncton and George LeBlanc of Calgary, AB; two grandchildren: Jason and Leslie as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Rolande on September 10th, 2012.
At the family request, no visitation or funeral service.
Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Dr. George-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation « Oncology » would be appreciated by the family.

M. LeBlanc avait pris sa retraite du Times et Transcript avec plus de 42 années de service. Il aimait le hockey et surtout faire parti de l’équipe Saint-Anselme « Oldtimers ». Il était membre de la paroisse Saint-Anselme.
Outre sa belle-mère, Dorice Leger de Shediac, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Jeannine (née: Gautreau); un fils, Guy (Patricia) de Dieppe; quatre soeurs: Dorine (feu Mathias) Leger d’Amherst, N.-E., Jackie (Austin) Esty de Fredericton, Sylvia (Roger) Cormier et Eva-Mai (Mike) Gayton, toutes deux de Dieppe; trois demi-soeurs: Lillianne (Denis) Roy et Bernice LeBlanc, toutes deux de Moncton et Suzanne de Calgary, AB; trois demi-frères: Gilles (Linda) LeBlanc de Memramcook, Roger LeBlanc de Moncton et George LeBlanc de Calgary, AB; deux petits-enfants: Jason et Leslie, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Sa fille, Rolande l’a précédé dans la tombe, le 10 septembre, 2012.

L’inhumation se fera au Colombaire de la Maison funéraire Chartersville, à Dieppe, N.-B.
Un don à la fondation Hôpital de Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont « Oncologie » serait apprécié par la famille.
