On Tuesday, June 20th, 2017, Arsène Manuel passed away. He lived a beautiful life with his wife of 44 years, Marie-Reine (Gaudet), his son, Colin (Isabelle), his daughter, Renelle (Philippe) as well as his grandson, Lucas that he loved dearly.
Born in Baie-Sainte-Anne, he was the son of the late Maximin and Lorida (Schofield) Manuel.
Other than his immediate family, he is survived by his brothers and sisters: Sylvia (Zoel), Germaine (Jacques), Adéline (Ronald), Paul (Lois), Dolorèse (Norman), Jeanne (Tim), Claudine (Jean-Paul), Alyre (Anne), Blair (Darlene), Gary (Kate), as well as many brother-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
Arsène was a man with a heart of gold who was full of life and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an amazing cook and loved to host super for his family and friends. He is greatly missed and will always be in our thoughts.
A gathering to celebrate Arsène’s life will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe (857-1901), on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 from 9 to 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Le mardi le 20 juin 2017 est décédé Arsène Manuel. Il a vécu une merveilleuse vie avec sa femme de 44 ans, Marie-Reine (Gaudet), son fils, Colin (Isabelle), sa fille, Renelle (Philippe), ainsi que son petit-fils, Lucas qu’il aimait tendrement.
Né à Baie-Sainte-Anne, il était le fils de feu Maximin et Lorida (Schofield) Manuel.
Autre que sa famille immédiate, il laisse dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs: Sylvia (Zoël), Germaine (Jacques), Adéline (Ronald), Paul (Lois), Dolorèse (Norman), Jeanne (Tim), Claudine (Jean-Paul), Alyre (Anne), Blair (Darlene), Gary (Kate), ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces, oncles et tantes.
Arsène était un homme avec un très grand cœur qui aimait passer beaucoup de temps avec sa famille. Il était un excellent cuisinier et adorait recevoir sa famille et ami(e)s. Il va nous manquer énormément et sera pour toujours dans nos pensées.
La famille accueillera parents et ami(e)s au salon funéraire Chartersville, 363 rue Amirault, Dieppe (857-1901), le samedi 24 juin 2017 de 9h à 11h afin de célébrer la vie d’Arsène.
En sa mémoire, un don à la Fondation CHU Dumont serait apprécié par la famille.
