Moncton, NB (formerly of Cocagne) – Auréa Cormier, 89 passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Born in Grand-Barachois, NB, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Edmée (Léger) Thibodeau.
Auréa will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Edmonde Cormier of Saint John, Elianne Brockbank (Robert) of Grande-Digue and Janice Cormier (François Maltais) of Moncton; her five grandchildren, Laura, Marc, Dominic, Zoé and Simon; her sister, Anita Goguen (Aurèle) of Moncton; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edmond (2016).
Visitations will be at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne slumber room in Cocagne on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
