Moncton, NB – Aurèle Cormier, 87, passed away peacefully at Villa du Repos in Moncton, on Monday, November 30, 2020.
Born in St-Paul, NB, he was the son of the late Claude and the late Emilienne Cormier (nee Breau).
Aurèle will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Jeannita Cormier (nee Melanson); his daughter, Yvette Goguen of Bouctouche; his stepchildren, Alfred Cormier (Behnaz Behnia) of Ottawa, ON, Louisa Woods of Indiana, US, Shirley Smythe (Paul) of London, ON and Joan Clark (Andy) of Dubai; his brothers, Gérald (Noëlla) and Laurie (Lise) both of St-Paul; his sisters, Anna Savoie (Gilles Daigle) and Jeanne Nowlan (Claude Bourque) both of Dieppe; his grandchildren, Bernard and Tammy; his great grandchildren, Samuel, André, Tiago and Tyson; his sister-in-law, Laura of Moncton; also by several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the mother of his children, Florence; two sons, Mike and Bernard; his step-daughter, Claudette; his sister, Olivine Smith; his brother, Francis.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625 Mountain Road, Moncton), Friday, December 4, 2020 from 10 am until 12 pm with a maximum of 25 people at a time.
