Aurella Lavoie, 84, of Dieppe, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Petit-Rocher, NB, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Anna (née: Frenette) Doucet.
She had retired from the Moncton Hospital, was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and a parishioner of Ste-Thérèse R.C.C.
She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her husband of 62 years, Aurèle; two daughters: Jacqueline Lavoie and Irma (Paul) Gould, both of Dieppe; three sons: Paul (Christianne) of Moncton, André (Hélène) of Grand Barachois and Daniel of Dieppe; one sister, Arnolda Comeau of Bathurst; one brother, Patrice Doucet of Petit-Rocher; 6 grandchildren and also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters: Anita and Alexina and also by two brothers: Gilbert and Alderic.
She enjoyed spending time at her summer cottage at Pte-du-Chêne with family and friends, she also loved to travel and share those memories.
No Visitation by request.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 at 2 pm.
Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
