Born in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, he was the son of the late Shelby Rees and the late Ruth Cochran Lee (nee Moon).
Formerly of Memphis Tennessee, the Lee family made their home in Charlottetown PEI between 1970 and 2013, when Bayliss moved to Serenacare in Moncton NB.
Beloved father to: Gerald (Valerie), Peter, Bay (Debbie), Richard (Elaine), Marcus (Marla) and Rees (Lynn) Proud Grandfather of: Virginia (Derek) Sasenbury, Matthew (Ashley), Richard, Jon, Catherine, Stephen, Megan (Reid), and Great-Granddaughter Maddie. Brother in law to: Dorothy (Dod) Crane, Virginia (Reid) Bielenberg, Richard (Brenda) Dow Much loved by nephews, nieces and their families, as well as staff and residents at Whisperwood Villa and Serenacare Moncton.
Besides his parents, Bayliss was predeceased by his wife Ann Dow Lee, granddaughter, Rebecca, and by his two brothers James and Shelby.
Visitation at St. Peter’s Cathedral, All Souls Chapel, 11 All Souls Lane, Charlottetown, PEI on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 from to 2:00pm – 4:00pm and from 7:00 – 9:00pm. Funeral Service at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Charlottetown, PEI, Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 at 11:00 am, with Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Committal service at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Charlottetown following the reception.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Peter’s Cathedral or St. John Ambulance would be appreciated.
