St-Antoine – Bernice Leger, 74, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, November 17, 2012, after a long illness.
Born in Moncton, NB on August 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Eva (Arsenault) Doiron.
Bernice will be sadly missed by her husband, Omer Leger; her two sons, Paul (Judy) of Alberta and Ricky (Nicole) of Gardner, Mass; her daughter, Pauline Leger (Léo Savoie) of Shediac Bridge; her five brothers, Roger of Moncton, Sylvère (Anne-Marie) of St-Antoine, Gérald (Diane) of Leominster, Mass, Valeri (Jeannine) of Acadieville and Alyre (Thérèse) of Moncton; her seven sisters, Helen LeBlanc (Gillie), Maria Bernard (André), Irma Thébeau (Delphin), Angèle Bourque (Gerry), Sylvia Gallant (Gerry), Evelyn Doiron (Robert) and Lucille Arsenault (Gerry) all of Moncton; four grandchildren, Jesse, Melissa, Alexandre and Cody; also by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge on Wednesday, November 21st from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and on Thursday, November 22nd from 10:00 till time of funeral. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Funeral Chapel in Shediac Bridge, on Thursday, November 22nd at 11 am.
Donations to the Tree of Hope, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre (Oncology Dept.) or to donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
