Cocagne, NB – Bernice Mazerolle, 54 passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, February 23, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Renault Mills, NB on November 21, 1958, she was the daughter of Zoël and Irène (Hébert) Maillet.
Bernice will be sadly missed by her special friend, Roland Maillet of Cocagne; her daughter, Susan Mazerolle of Moncton; her two brothers, Laurie Maillet (Debbie) of Florida, USA and Roger Maillet (Françis LeBlanc) of Moncton; her two sisters, Annette Hébert (Bernard) of Bouctouche and Louise Boudreau (Norbert) of McKees Mills; her goddaughter, Louise; her five nieces and three nephews, Janice, Carole, Bernard Jr., Melanie, Nicholas, Melissa, Jennifer and Jeffery; her three great-nephews, Yanik, Maxime, Michaël; also by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
In respect to Bernice’s wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at the St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church on Tuesday, February 26 at 7 pm.
The family would like to thank the staff (4F) of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Dr. Thibeault and also Louise and Carole for visiting her often.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Arthritis Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
