Moncton, NB – Blanche LeBlanc (nee Langis), 93, passed away peacefully Sunday morning December 3, 2017 after a brief illness at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Notre-Dame, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédé and the late Rosalie Langis (nee Bourgeois).

Blanche was popular and well-liked by her friends and colleagues. She worked in the retail industry with Zellers at the Main Street location from the 1960’s to 1980’s.

From a family of eighteen siblings, Blanche is survived by her sister, Élise Léger of Val Thérèse, ON; by her son, Ronald LeBlanc of Moncton; along by her extended family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Edgar E. LeBlanc (2002).

As per Blanche’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce RC Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe in the spring of 2018.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
