Grand-Barachois, NB – Camillien Cormier, 79, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, June 25, 2018.

Born in Grand-Barachois, NB, he was the son of the late David Cormier and the late Ernestine (Doiron) Cormier.

Camillien will be sadly missed by his special friend, Bertha Pitre; his five children, Monique Saulnier (Claude) of Dieppe, David Cormier (Johanne) of Grande-Digue, Michel Cormier (Roxanne) of Barrie, ON, Daniel Cormier (Kim Adams) of Moncton and Marie Cormier (Terry) of Cap-Pelé; his four siblings, Bertin Cormier (Germaine) of Shediac, Gabriel Cormier (Géraldine) of Grand-Barachois, Antonine Cormier (Peter Mathewson) of Toronto, ON and Hermance Poirier (Yvon) of Grand-Barachois; his seventeen grandchildren, Samuel, Mario (Mathieu), Julie (Andy), Denis, Nadine, Nicholas, Sylvie, Joanne (Wesly), Christine (Tom), Jessy (Dominique), John, Tyler, Ryan, Jacob, Sylvain, Patrick (Monika), and Céline; his twelve great grand-children, Anabel, Maxime, Alisandra, Penelope, Bria, Nathan, Kristina, Amelia, Mason, Jackson, Declan and Elliott; also by several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Gilberthe; one daughter, Maria; four sisters, Andréa Cormier, Lucie Doiron, Ella Belliveau (Camille) and Carmella Hopper (Charles); two brothers, Ulysse (late Elizabeth) and Louis-Gonzague; one grandson, Benjamin and by his two twin great grandson, Aiden and Dillan.

Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm. There will be no visitation on Saturday morning. Funeral service will be held at St. Henri de Barachois RC Church in Grand-Barachois, on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30 am.
