Moncton – Caroline ‘Cie’ Miller, 63, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Chatham, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Pearl (MacDonald) Carter.
Caroline will be sadly missed by her husband, Brian; her son Shawn (Katya) of Moncton, her daughter, Vickie Saunders (Ron) of Moncton; her brother, Wayne Carter (Janice) of McKees Mills; her seven sisters, Mildred Carter, Violet O’Connor (late Joseph), Audrey Collins (late Guy), Margaret “Peggy” Tidd (Ken), all of Moncton, Mary “Mamie” Glencross (Vance) of Rexton, Betty-Ann Potter (Melvin) of Deep River, ON and Deborah Stewart (Craig) of Kouchibouguac; four grandchildren, Brady, Grace, Riley and Chloe; one godson, Matthew; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Carter (late Ralph) of McKees Mill and Gwen Carter (late Wesley) of Riverview; also by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Joyce and three brothers, Ralph, Victor and Wesley.
In respect to Caroline’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the St. Bernard’s RC Church, 43 Botsford St. on Thursday, March 8 at 3 pm, with Father Allison Carroll officiating. Reception will follow in the church basement.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
