St-Phillipe, NB – Catherine Poirier, 78, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont university hospital centre on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2020.
Born in Néguac, NB, she was the daughter of her biological parents, the late William and the late Véronique Breau (born Savoie) and her adoptive parents, the late Aurèle and the late Ovilda Godin (born Allain).
Catherine will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Léopold Poirier of St-Phillipe; her daughter, Nathalie Poirier (Michel) of St-Antoine; her son, Michel Poirier of St-Phillipe; three sisters, Josephine Tzagournis (Christos), Marie Tsaparas (Sammy) both of Montreal and Patricia Pierre (Clifford) of Toronto; three brothers, William Breau (Rachel) of Nerepis, Yvon Breau (Jacqueline) of Lagacéville and Kenneth Breau (Bertha) of Memramcook; two step-brothers, Gérard-Raymond Godin and Paul-Emile Godin (Gisèle) both of Alberta; four step-sisters, Colette Savoie (Robert) of Tabusintac, Marie Godin Bourgeois (Georges) of Dieppe, Dolorès DeMonde (Mike) of Alberta and Jeanne Godin (Henri) of Dieppe; by four grandchildren, Alexandre, Ariane, Audrey and Sarah-Maude; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her biological and adoptive parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Alice Barone and Irene Konstantakakos.
Visitations And a private service will be held at a later date.
